Zelda M. Eans, age 90, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday July 29, 2017.

She was born January 26, 1927 in Uniontown, Pa. the daughter of the late George and Jane (Blackburn) Williams.

Zelda was a Gold Star Mother; she was especially fond of Glenn Neilson and the boys of VVI Inc. and a member of the AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood. Zelda worked for many years at G.C. Murphy Co.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewey L. Eans Jr., son Lawrence Eans a Vietnam War Veteran on December 11, 1968 and numerous brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Audrey J. Johnston and her husband Bob of Dunbar, Pa., with whom she made her home, her grandson, Terry L. Furajter Jr., and his wife Mandy of Smithburg, Md., Robert W. Johnston Jr., and his wife Sharon, of Dawson, Pa., great grandchildren Carson and Reagan Furajter, Alyssa and Mia Johnston, a special nephew Larry Martin, special friends Karen and Tiffany Haney and children. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Extension, Uniontown PA, on Tuesday August 1, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday August 2, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Internment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
