William M. "Bill" Solly, 93, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1924 In Uniontown, son of the later Jacob Solly, Sr. and Mary Ann (Ilcin) Solly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Teresa M. (Pace) Solly; and brothers, Andrew, Jake, infant Robert, Frank and Charlie Solly.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Solly of Michigan; a sister, Dorothy Chuey, a brother, Raymond Solly; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Bill was a devoted husband, a lifelong member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, member and gifted soloist with St. Mary's Choral Group for over 50 years, and also member of the Knights of Columbus for 50 years. He retied from the Uniontown Hospital Maintenance Dept. and prior to that was a truck driver for Tristate Drug Company.

A Memorial  Service will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti officiating. Interment will be private at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
