Mr. William "Bud" R. Hull, Sr., 83 of Smithfield, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Uniontown of February 22, 1941 to the late Jacob Hull and Loise Halbrook Ziemkowsky.

William was a blacksmith and farrier.  He shoed horses all around the Greene, Fayette, and Washington county areas.

He was an avid animal lover, especially his horses and dogs.  He enjoyed riding with the wagon train from the mountain every year.

William is survived by his wife, Viola Hull of Brownsville; six children, William "Ronnie" Hull, Jr. and wife Dawn of Maryland, Joey Hull of New Salem, Jimmy Hull of Uniontown, Shawn Hull of Maryland, Amanda "Mandy" Close and husband John of Republic, and Jason Hull and wife Michele, who was a special daughter in law and caregiver,  of Smithfield; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and four brothers, Don Hull and wife Betty of Smithfield, Johnny Hull and wife Steph of Virginia, Jeff Hull and wife Dana of Footedale, and Chris Ziemkowsky.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Robinson.

Visitation for William will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, on Tuesday, February 11th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12th at 11AM.

Entombment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
