William Andrew "Bill" Marinich, 92, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born on November 18, 1925 in Manown, Pa., son of Ludvik and Slavka Marinich.

His parents, wife Mary Ann, brothers, Louis and Captain Albert Marinich; and sisters, Francis Kvocka and Louise DiBasilio preceded him in death.

Bill was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Croation Fraternal Union Lodge # 248, Catholic War Veterans Post 1669, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8543, American Legion Post 51, LSM/LSMR Association. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy, in the Pacific, aboard the L.S.M. 391, during World War II. He has owned and operated his business, Uniontown Auto Spring Co. since 1946.

He is survived by two sons, John and wife Patricia of Uniontown, Pa; and Michael and wife Joanne of Farmington, Pa.; grandchildren, Kimberly Hardy and husband Jeremy of New London, NC; David Marinich of Cleveland, OH; and Albert Marinich of Farmington, Pa.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, March 1, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and Friday, March 2, until 11 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Amvets Post 103.
