William "Billy" M. Morris, III, 52, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at his residence.
He was born in Uniontown on August 2, 1973 to William M. Morris, Jr. and Rose Marie (Potocar) Morris.
Billy graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, class of 1991, where he played football and participated in track and field; and was affectionally nicknamed, "Big Bad". He also attended Penn State Fayette Campus.
He was the previous owner of Morris Trucking and Excavating Inc. and owned and operated Liberty Bell Antique Store in Uniontown.
Billy had a passion for antiques, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed the local casinos, and was an animal lover – especially dogs: Lilly, Jax, Cinnamon, Roxie, and Rocco.
He was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Church, Lemont Sportsman Club, and a life member of Hutchinson Sportsman Club.
Billy is survived by his parents, William and Rose Marie Morris, Jr. of Uniontown; daughter, Mollee Morris of Morgantown and her mother, Angie Bowlen of Connellsville; brother, Chris Morris of Uniontown; step daughter, Katelin Knea and husband Chase; step grandchildren, Kinsley and Scarlett; uncles: Ronald Morris, Donald Morris, Matthew James Potocar, Jr. all of Uniontown; several great aunts and uncles; numerous cousins including two close cousins: Stephanie Habrat and Matthew Potocar, III.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Ashton Matthew Morris; grandparents, William and Mildred Morris, Sr. and Matthew James and Dorothy Potocar, Sr.; and aunt Cindy Potocar.
Visitation for Billy will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Friday, February 27th from 2 to 8 PM, with additional viewing on Saturday, February 28th from 9:30 to 11 AM, at which time (11 AM) the funeral service will begin at the funeral home.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
