William E. "Weasel" Kraynak, age 61, of Uniontown, PA, passed away, as a result of an auto accident, on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on December 26, 1950, son of the late John F. Kraynak, Jr. and Ruth A. (Selep) Kraynak.

Throughout his life, William was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, the Continental 2 Gun Club, Messmore Gun Club, Polish Club, Hutchinson Sportsman Club, The Knights of Columbus, American Federation of Musicians, AMVETS Post #103, and a past member of The Velvatones Band.

Left to cherish his memories are seven siblings, Frank Kraynak, Joseph Kraynak and wife Portcia, Bob Kraynak and wife Cheryl, Rose Nemal and husband Sam, Ruth Bartos and husband Mike, Marilyn Mickey and husband Greg, Betty Salonick; a sister-in-law, Joyce Kraynak; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Kraynak; an infant sister, Mary Ann Kraynak; nephews, Mark and Francis Kraynak, and Jeffie Blasinsky; a niece Kelsey Blasinsky; and a long time companion and best friend, Rita Martelli.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 2-9 p.m. and on Thursday, October 18, 2012 until 9:15 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak as Celebrant.



Entombment will be held at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
