William F. Hardy, age 86, of Uniontown, PA., passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.

He was born on June 1, 1926 in Dearth, PA, a son of Francis Hiles and Carrie Hardy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Hiles, Robert Hiles and his sister Betty Upton.

William was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Uniontown, Pa., for 63 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years Margaret (Johnson) Hardy, children, Joyce Smith and husband Donald, Gregg Hardy, Nan Dones, Lois Johnson and husband Howard, Kevin Hardy and wife Donette, Keith Hardy and wife Nikki, Allen Hardy and wife Vonni, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a brother Earl Hiles and several nieces, nephews, sisters in law and brothers in law.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Wednesday, June 20th from 7-9PM, Thursday , June 21st from 2-4 and 7-9PM and on Friday, June 22, 2012 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Dale Redick officiating.

Military honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood. Entombment will be held in Sylvan Heights Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Uniontown, Pa.
