William Glenn Guynn, 89 of Vanderbilt passed away on Saturday August 3, 2024 at Uniontown Hospital. Born April 20, 1935 in Vanderbilt, a son of the late Edward and Victoria Guynn; Beloved husband of the late Lillian (Blackburn) Guynn. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings June, Bea and Alvin Guynn and Betty Steich. He is survived by his children Stephen (Bonnie) Blackburn of Connellsville, Angel (Eric) Wolfrey of Glenelg, MD, Jeffrey Guynn of Vanderbilt and Cindy (Charles) Henderson of Uniontown, his grandchildren Stephen (Megan) Blackburn, Maressa (Zoe) Guynn, Nicolette Wolfrey, Julia Wolfrey, Elijah Guynn and Ryan Wolfrey and his great grandchildren Cooper and Sage, his brother Bob Guynn and sister Rosemary Barron. William was an Army veteran serving in Korea, he was Immersed into the Lord at the Vanderbilt Church of Christ on June 29, 2019. He was a Truck Driver for Koppers Industries for 35 years and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed wood working, hunting and building. Visitation at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. Uniontown on Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM when a service will be held at the Funeral Home. Military honors will be accorded and burial will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
