William Edward Campbell, age 56 of Phillips, Uniontown, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at South Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg, PA.

He was born on September 30, 1954 in Uniontown, PA, son of Luevern and Benjamin Campbell.

His parents, and his grandmother Alice Fowler, preceded him in death.

William "Billy Reed" loved his Bluegrass music, shooting pool and playing the banjo, fiddle, and guitar. He was a lifelong resident of Phillips, and a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School class of 1972.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers and sisters, Carol Collins and husband James; James Campbell and wife Joyce; Robert Campbell, Sharon Blaker Campbell, Douglas Campbell, Jack Campbell and wife Pam; Glen Campbell and wife Timma; and many nieces and nephews.

All friends and family members should arrive at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA at 12:45 p.m. today.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery today at 1 p.m., following a private family gathering, with Pastor Jason Lamer Officiating.
