Wanda Naomi (Hogue) Sagosky, 85 of Masontown, Pa., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday evening, August 2, 2013.
She was born on April 7, 1928, in Strangford, Indiana County, PA, a daughter of Stewart Thomas Hogue and Emma Minerva (Kirkland) Hogue.
She was raised in Blairsville and Cokeville, Pa.
Wanda married Frank Sagosky on October 18, 1947 and enjoyed 47 happy years until Franks' death on December 31, 1994.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and husband and the following siblings; Alfred, Virgil, Clifford and Elmer Hogue, Alberta Jennings, Alice Murray and an infant sister Evelyn Hogue.
Left to cherish his memory are her children; Sharon and Mark Garland, Connie Sagosky, Kenneth and Lori Sagosky, her grandchildren; Todd and Laura Garland, Shaun (Garland) and David Trevino, Melissa Sagosky and fiance Drew Homer, Christopher Sagosky and fiance Emma Krater. Great grandchildren; Sophie and Darla Trevino, Hunter and Mackenzie Dice, she was also survived by her sisters; Ada Angelo, Twila Hiner and her husband Eugene, Clara Rafitz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a former member of the Revere Free Methodist Sunday School; a member of the Col. Andrew Lynn Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; and also the Fayette County Genealogy.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461, Monday August 5, 2013 from 2-8 PM and on Tuesday August 6, 2013 until 1 p.m. the hour of service with Pastor Charles O'Brien of the Free Methodist Church of Hopwood, Pa., officiating.
Interment will be held in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
