Walter J. Krzanowski, Sr., age 94, of Uniontown, PA, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2012, with his loving family at his side. He was born on March 20, 1918, son of the late Frank and Mary (Wenklar) Krzanowski.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Julia L. Krzanowski; a granddaughter, Shelly Marie Domen; a son-in-law, David Clark; and six siblings, Helen, Pauline, Joseph, Edward, Stanley, and Louie; and a loving pet companion, Angel.



Walter is survived by his loving children, Marlene Martin and husband Paul J., Janet Domen and husband Ronald, Janice Clark, Walter Krzanowski Jr. and wife Charlotte, Mary Jewel Palya and husband Thomas, and Stanley "Stush" Krzanowski and wife Cathy; grandchildren, David Clark, John Clark, Melanie Denny, Andrea Wary, Thomas Palya Jr., Rosemary Spadafora, Stephen Krzanowski, and Michael Krzanowski; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; and three brothers, Bruno, Ted, and Bill Krzanowski.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 6-8 PM and on Monday, October 8, 2012 until 9:15 AM when a Parting Prayer Service will be held.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, located in Uniontown, PA., with Rev. Fr. Ronald Simboli as Celebrant



Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, located in Hopwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA.
