Walter Despot's Obituary
Walter Despot, age 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.
He was born on September 4, 1928, in Brownsville, PA, son of the late Steve Despot and Mary Andler Despot. Walter was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Despot.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Audrey Despot of Uniontown, PA.; a son, David Despot of Cincinnati, OH.; a daughter, Tina Whitford and husband Scott, of Cincinnati, OH.; grandchildren, Susan Despot, Daniel Despot and wife Cassie, Brett Whitford, and Nicole Whitford; a brother, Steve Despot; and one sister, Delores Bradmon.
A private family gathering was held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, June 16, 2011.
A Blessing Service followed in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli officiating.
Interment was held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
