Virginia Loar Grandey, age 99 of Vanderbilt, Pa, died on Monday, July 4, 2016 peacefully at home.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Allen "Skip" Grandey and wife Bobbe of Pittsburgh, Pa., Richard Loar Grandey and wife Mary of Birmingham, Alabama, and Lynn Rose Luczki and husband Steve of Vanderbilt, Pa.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. the hour of service. Additional visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.

Interment will be private in the Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa.

In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged for the hospice care at Amedisys Home Health Care at 109 Crossroads Road, Suite 400, Scottdale, Pa, 15683. .
