Violet C. Slominsky, age 91, passed away Tuesday August 5, 2014.
She was born on November 25, 1922, in Hutchinson, Pa., daughter of John and Anna (Sofranko) Ziska.
Violet was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parent's, husband Edmund S. Slominsky Sr., her sisters and brothers; Evelyn Ziska, William Ziska, John Ziska and Agnes Wortman.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Monica Slominsky, Edmund S. Slominsky Jr., her sister Frances Perry and a brother Charles Ziska.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa., Thursday August 7, 2014, from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, in Uniontown, PA. At 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Ronald Simboli as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
