Victoria "Vicky" (Varju) Forrai, 97, of Adah, PA, passed away peacefully, in her home, on Sunday, July 12, 2015, with her loving family by her side. She was born, January 2, 1918, in Benton, IL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 65 years, Emory J. Forrai in August of 2000; 5 brothers and sisters; and 1 great-grandson.
Vicky was a member of the former St. Albert Roman Catholic Church, in Palmer, PA. Through out her life she worked as a Homemaker and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.
Left to Cherish her memory are, her three children, James J. Forrai of Adah, PA, Rose M. Dallas and her husband Rocky of Wadsworth, OH, and Thresa A. Liddle of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Victoria, James, James Jr., Michelle, Edward, Eugene, Michael, Steven, Gina, and Richard; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 515 North Main St. Masontown, PA, on Thursday, July16, from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, July 17, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish, 101 South Washington Street, Masontown, PA.
Entombment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
