Timothy Roy "Tim" Searcy, age 48, of Smithfield, PA, loving husband father and son, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at home, after a short bout with cancer. He was born on March 12, 1963 in Reno, NV., son of Don Roy Searcy, who preceded him in death, and Sandra (Anderson) Searcy Vrabel of Smithfield, PA.

He is also survived by his wife of 21 years, Tina Aileen (Hewitt) Searcy, daughters, Pvt. Angela Marie Mortensen, US Army, Afghanistan, Audra Dawn Searcy, and Ariel Aileen Searcy, both at home; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Katie Mortensen; two brothers, Guy Matthew Searcy of Provo, UT, and Ryan Wade Searcy and wife Jennifer of Uniontown, PA; and four nieces, Alysia, Arian, Ashley, and Addison Searcy.

Tim enjoyed restoring old antique cars. He also had many pets, and loved them all.



The family will receive friends at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc, 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA, on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., to celebrate his life.
