Timothy Edward Dowdell, 60, of Uniontown passed away suddenly of natural causes on March 11, 2016. Tim was born in Johnstown, PA on November 15th, 1955 to the late Leroy and Lenora Dowdell.

Tim owned and operated Hartwood Contractors Inc. for more than 15 years and previously held positions as executive chef of Luigi's and Pleasant Valley Country Club.

Father of five children, Tara Stage and husband Charlie, Erin Gibbens and husband Ryan, Evan Dowdell and wife Holly, Andrea Hebda and husband Frank, and Ryan Dowdell; grandfather of Rebecca and Christian Stage, and Grace, Clara, and Nora Gibbens; brother of Jeff Dowdell and wife Janet, Barb Donesec, Paula Ruane and husband Larry, Shawn Dowdell and wife Crystal, Adrian Dowdell (deceased), Maureen Dowdell, Roy Dowdell, and Mary Dowdell-Illsley (deceased) and husband Tom; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tim will forever be remembered for his enormous capacity for love and kindness.
