"Buck" Morozek
February 4, 1952 – June 13, 2019
Timothy J. "Buck" Morozek, 67, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1952 in Connellsville, Pa., to Leo James Morozek and Mamie Kovalchick.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, John J. Kovalchick, his maternal grandmother, Pearl Bertha, and his uncle, George Croftcheck.
Timothy was a member of the former St. Hedwig Parish in Smock, and St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown. He had been a coal miner with Gateway Mines, and prior to that was employed with Rockwell International. He was very athletic and played ball for the Royal Softball Team in his youth; and was avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Mamie Kovalchick, with whom he made his home; two sisters, Jackie Mortichesky and husband Brad of Keisterville, Pa., and Tammy Flesher and husband Scott of Uniontown, Pa.; special nephew (who brought him scratch off tickets everyday in the hospital) Rick Mortichesky and fiancé Sis; niece and special goddaughter, Tricia Tokish and husband Nick; niece, Marissa Snyder and husband Jason; and nephew, Jonathan Flesher, who was also his special godson; a great niece, Abby Tokish; great nephews, Ayden Tokish and Camden Tokish; and a soon to be born great niece or great nephew; a special aunt, Mary Jane Smithburger; many other beloved family members; and many special friends, especially "Tiny".
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., on Sunday, June 16, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.; and Monday, June 17, until 12:15 p.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 17, in Saint Cecelia Catholic Church, 1571 Grindstone Rd., Grindstone, Pa., with Rev. Father Thumma Fathimareddy as celebrant.
Interment will follow at MountMacrinaCemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
