Thomas Gregory Burzawa, 78 of Cary, NC, formerly from Uniontown Pa., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born on November 21, 1943 in Layton, Pa., Son of the late Frank Stanley Burzawa and Anna Irene (Dzurik) Burzawa.

He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S Navy. After 30+ years, he retired from the IBM Corporation.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Dolores V. Manyak, Evelyn Burzawa and Carol Ann Abel.

Left to cherish are his brother in law William A. Manyak; Nephew Bernard Manyak and wife Victoria; Niece Diane Radvansky and husband Thomas and Kathy Manyak all of Uniontown, Pa. Special friends Barbara and George Sawyer and daughter Kim Bentley all of Cary, NC.

A funeral mass will be held at St, Mary's (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown Pa, on Friday, January 21 at 10 am. Military honors will be accorded by AMVETS Post 423. Inurnment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
