Theresa A. (Bennie) Vojacek, 53 of Uniontown, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 27, 1961 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Peter and Kathryn (Stefko) Bennie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Mark L. Vojacek on May 18, 2013, and two sisters, Monica Hodges and Charlotte Serratta.

Theresa was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was always happy, had a remarkable smile, and a big heart. She always made sure no one left her home hungry. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, son, Samuel Vojacek, daughter, Lael Vojacek and her fianc Ron Hixenbaugh; cherished granddaughter, Sadie Hixenbaugh, two brothers, Charlie Bennie and Peter G. Bennie; a sister, Kathryn Ermini; and a brother-in-law, Donald Serratta.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Thursday, March 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, March 7, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Lillian Sparks Officiating.

Interment will be privately held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
