Theodore "Whitey" Krzanowski, 91 of Uniontown passed on Sunday March 3, 2019. Born February 29, 1928 in Uniontown, son of the late Frank and Mary Krzanowski; Beloved husband of the late Virginia "Ginny" (Mardula) Krzanowski, father of Joseph (the Late Wendy Weaver Krzanowski) Krzanowski and James Krzanowski both of Uniontown; grandfather of Robert
Joseph and Joseph Matthew Krzanowski; brother of Bill Krzanowski of Lakeland, FL and survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his other siblings. Ted was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a truck driver working for Sol Sieff Company and was the former owner of Bute & Oliver Bus Lines. A member of St. Joseph Church of Uniontown and the Polish Club. Ted enjoyed camping and the beach, time with family and friends and will be remembered for his sense of humor and generosity. Viewing Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext where prayers of transfer will be said Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Uniontown. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Hopwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fayette Friends of Animals in his memory.
