Obituary

Theodore Krevinko, 73, of Deland, FL, formerly of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife by his side on April 25, 2025.

He was born on February 25,1952 in Uniontown, PA.  He was the son of the late Charles and Anna (Link) Krevinko.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene and his sister Maryann (Szmik). Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Marlene, his daughters Christina Silver and husband Adam of Stafford, VA, Renee Krevinko of Stafford, VA and his son Eugene Krevinko and wife Veronica of Rockville, MD. He was a proud grandfather to Eric and Emily Silver, and Lukas and Connor Krevinko. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of St. John's High School and went on to dedicate 37 years of his life to working in the coal mines (Robena and Cumberland). His many years of working in the mines were a testament to his work ethic and resilience. After retirement, he continued to stay active by working part-time in Florida at an auto auction as well as Daytona International Speedway and assisting with parking services at Deland Hospital.

Theodore was a proud and lifelong fan of Pittsburgh sports where he rarely missed a game. Whether it was football, baseball, or hockey, cheering on his hometown team brought him great joy and connection with his roots.

Friends and family will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Friday, May 9th from 4 to 8 PM. A liturgy of Christian burial at St. John Byzantine Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Saturday, May 10th at 10 AM, with the panachida at 9:15 AM at the funeral home.

Interment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.

His life was marked by quiet dedication, deep love for his family, and a true blue-collar spirit that never wavered. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
