Thelma Jean Sullivan, age 88, went to be with her Lord on April 3, 2012. Beloved mother of William (Stephanie) Sullivan and Wendie (Jim) Gray; cherished grandmother of Jesse (Samantha) Raczynski, Kelly (Dana) Dillon, Jaclyn (Jim) Ray and Megan Sullivan; great-grandmother of Connor Raczynski, Layla Raczynski and Gabriel Dillon; dear sister of Dottie Franks (Jesse Brookshire ) and Lois (the late Jack) Harden; many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.

Jean instilled many values in her children and grandchildren: the love of books and knowledge of all kind; the joy to be had in all of nature's miracles; love of God, family and country. She was a woman of great and enduring faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jean will join in heaven, those who journeyed on before her: Asa C. and Ethel Fike Shaffer (parents); William F. Shaffer and Asa Carl Shaffer, Jr. (brothers); Bette Tamenne and Doris Karpel (sisters); Jerry Franks and Jack Harden (brother-in-laws); Jane Shaffer (sister-in- law).

She will be remembered by all for her beautiful smile, joyful sense of humor, and kindness of spirit.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 3-8 PM., and Wednesday, April, 11 until 10:00 AM., the Hour of Service, with Pastor Roland Maust.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
