Ms. Susanne Gaster, 98, of Uniontown, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Uniontown on May 30, 1926 to the late Michael and Helen Durista Molten.

Susanne graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1944.

She was a member of St. John Baptist Byzantine Church.

Suanne was bar manager at the Victory Inn and GC Murphy.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Frasconi and husband Paul; six grandchildren, William R. Gaster, II and finance Brandy Palmer, Chrissy Kolesar and husband Jeff, Lea Karmecy, Marie Gaster, Andrew P. Homer, and Amanda Homer; four great grandchildren, Haylee Kolesar, Severen Carr, Josslyn Homer, and Jayla Garcia; a son in law, Andrew F. Homer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susanne was preceded in death by her husband, William Dewey Gaster, three children, Charlene Homer, Robert Gaster, and Deborah Gaster; and six siblings, Katherine, Helen, Libby, George, John, and Pete.

Visitation for Susanne will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Wednesday, February 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and the funeral at the funeral home on Thursday, February 27 at 10 AM.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
