Mrs. Sue Ann Milsom, 70, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Uniontown on March 27, 1954 to Robert and Agnes Spaw Ventura.

Sue married Mr. Dennis J. Milsom on March 27, 1976.

She graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1972. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science and Biology from Laroche College in Pittsburgh, and then a Bachelor of Nursing from Waynesburg University.

Sue worked various nursing positions at the Uniontown Hospital for over thirty years.  She retired in 2019 as director of nursing.

She is a member of St. Therese Church.

She liked to travel and loved her grandchildren, especially attending all their activities through the years.  Sue was well liked and was blessed with many friends through life and from work, who will miss her dearly.

Sue is survived by her mother, Agnes Ventura of Uniontown; husband, Dennis J. Milsom of Uniontown; three sons, Dennis J. Milsom, Jr. and wife Sue of Overland Park, KS, Vincent E. Milsom and wife Erin of Uniontown, and David C. Milsom and wife Adrienne of Uniontown; six grandchildren, Devin, Lily, Kelan, Kalee, Addison, and Aiden Milsom; a brother, Robert Ventura and wife Karen of Crozet, VA; two sisters, Diane McDowell and husband Jim and Kristina Delverme and husband Anthony both of Uniontown; a brother in law, William C. Milsom of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ventura.

Visitation for Sue will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Friday, August 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 11 AM at St. Therese Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA 15401.

Interment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
