Stephen Joseph Rafay, Jr., age 91 of Uniontown, PA, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was born on October 28, 1921 in Uniontown, a son of Stephen and Mary Rafay. His parents, a brother John Rafay, and a sister Annie Marek preceded him in death.

Stephen was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 51, member of the V.F.W., and the Loyal Order of Moose.

He is survived by his wife Ferne Mae (Holiday) Rafay; their children, Stephanie Brangard, William "Bill" Rafay, and Keith Rafay; five grandchildren, Kayla Rafay, Laken Brangard, Cheyenne Brangard, Keith Rafay, Jr., and Angeleah Rafay; two sisters, Pauline Marcus, and Mary Sassak; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA on Saturday, June 8, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Military Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #51 on Saturday, June 8 at 9:00PM.
