Shirley A. Johnston, age 76, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2013.
She was born on June 28, 1937, in Connellsville, Pa.
She enjoyed watching The Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved jewelry and shopping. Bingo was a favorite pastime. She will miss spending time with her lady friends at The Uniontown Senior Center
She was preceded in death by her mother, Zelma Shuff, husband Ronald M. "Coke" Johnston, and several brothers and a sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Linda Sheffield and husband Mark of McConnellsburg, Pa., William "Bill" Johnston and wife Mary of Hopwood, Pa., Barbara Duley and husband Mark of Fairchance, Pa., Karen Yasko and husband Rodney of Fairchance, Pa., grandchildren; Kellee Truax and husband Kevin of McConnellsburg, Pa., Kris Sheffield and wife Deb of McConnellsburg, Pa., Benjamin Johnston, Tiffany Duley, Brandon Johnston, Nathan Duley, Ty Yasko and Kyra Yasko, great grandchildren; Dalton Sheffield, Katelyn Truax and Kole Truax, she was also survived by a sister Jean Kinneer and husband Ernie.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. today from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday October 4, 2013, until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Ken Walls officiating.
Interment will be held in Mt. View Cemetery, Brownfield, Pa.
