Sandra M. Murphy, 66, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at home. She was born on August 19, 1948 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Elsie Marshall.

Sandy retired from Census Technology after 41 years of employment. After retirement, she worked at Dollar Tree in her spare time. She was an avid horse racing fan, and attended the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. She was also a huge NASCAR fan (Dale, Jr. only).

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and husband of 48 years, Harry Murphy; her lap-dog "Coco"; and her best friends, Peggy DeHannis of Bethel Boro, Carol Spaw of Uniontown, and Laureen of Dunbar; and many cousins.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA.
