Mrs. Ruth Kress, 83, of Uniontown, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Uniontown on February 24, 1940 to the late James Michael O'Laughlin and Helen Baden O'Laughlin Pensock.
Ruth married Mr. Stanley Kress on October 16, 1964 in Uniontown.
She was a hairdresser, and had her own shop for many years.  She enjoyed her job and the clients that became friends throughout the years.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements, decorating, her cats, and her beloved grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her husband Stanley Kress of Uniontown; a daughter, Holly Lemansky and husband Barton of Uniontown; two grandchildren, Brett Francis and Bailey Ann.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Matlick.
Friends and family may call at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Wednesday, November 22, from 11 AM to 1 PM, at which time the funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Father Alvin Aberion officiating.
