Ruth L. (Campbell) Brown, age 72, of Leckrone, PA, died peacefully at the Uniontown, Hospital, on Tuesday, May 4, 2011. She was born on June 3, 1938 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late William H. Campbell and Bertha (Clark) Campbell.

Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Brown; a daughter, Diane Cuppett; son-in-law, Charles Cuppett; Brother, Harry Campbell; and sister, Dorothy Lininger.

Ruth was a cook at the YMCA in Racine, Wisconsin in the 1960's, and also a member of the Blind Association.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Alice M. Humberson and husband Steven of McClellandtown, PA., William R. Brown and wife Violet of Leckrone, PA., and James H. Brown and wife Jean of McClellandtown, PA.; brothers, Jim Campbell, Ray Campbell, Melvin Campbell, and Robert Campbell; sisters, Betty Trackmas, and Blanche Thompson; 7 Grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.



Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA, on Thursday, May 5 from 7-9 PM, Friday, May 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and Saturday, May 7, until 11:00 AM, the Hour of Service with Pastors George and Jenny Eberhart Officiating

Interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery, Brier Hill, PA.
