Roy Lee Bowlen, 73 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 14, 1943, son of late Charles Bowlen and Violet Berdar, step-son of George Berdar. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Chuck" Bowlen, and a son, Chris Bowlen.

He was married to Asenath "Senie" (Sedlock) Bowlen, who he adored all of his life. He will be missed so very much by all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, and many other people who knew him. He is now in the arms of his "Mum" who he has missed for many years, as well as his brother and son. "We love you Dad."

His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon, the hour of service, with his son Robert "Bobby" Bowlen officiating.
