Rose Marie (Benford) Stuck, 79 of Smithfield, Pa., died suddenly on Monday, March 12, 2018. She was born on June 13, 1938 in Masontown, Pa., daughter of the late James and Anna Marie (Cozard) Benford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Benford.

Rose Marie was a graduate of Masontown High School Class of 1956. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed traveling across the country with her husband in their RV.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of nearly 60 years, George C. Stuck, whom she married on November 15, 1958 in Winchester, Va; their children, Crystal Diane Fletcher and husband Dave of Smithfield, Georgia Lee Stuck and fiancé Christina Vogt of Uniontown, and Judy Ann Loy and husband Dirk of Millington, Tn; seven grandchildren, David, Christopher, Faith, Kami, Jayne, Frank, and Dianna; five great grandchildren, Aaron, Connor, Keira, Sebastian, and Rayna; four siblings, James Benford of Dearth, Beverly Jordan of Masontown, Carol McIntyre of Arizona, and Sherry Clark of Masontown; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, March 15, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the Hour of Service, with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

Interment will be privately held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
