Rose Marie (Radzik) Fidek, age 90 of Masontown, PA., passed away peacefully at The Golden Living Center, in Kirtland, OH., on Monday, December 24, 2012.

Rose was born in Footedale, PA on March 8, 1922, daughter of the late Joseph Radzik and Stefania Borytsky Radzik. In addition to her parents, husband Martin "Joe" Fidek Rose was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria Skrebunas.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sisters, Albina Stemnock, Genevieve Semosky, and Sophia Helt; a niece, Gloria Ianetta and husband Dale, of Kirtland, Ohio; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rose was a life-long member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Footedale, PA, She was a beautiful, generous, and very friendly person, who enjoyed helping anyone in need. She also loved to cook, bake, garden, was handy around the house. She helped build the home that she and Martin shared.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA, on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Saturday, January 5 until 9:15 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM, in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, 528 Footdale Rd., Footedale, PA, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery, Footedale, PA.
