Rose (Colameo) Traficante, 85, of Merrittstown, PA, died on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Uniontown Hospital.

She was born on January 9, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Yolanda (Chan) (DiCianna) Colameo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Traficante, Sr., son Eugene Traficante, Jr., infant son Robert Traficante, and granddaughter Fawne Marie Traficante.

Rose had been a member of the Holy Rosary Church in Republic.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Janet Sullivan and beloved companion Gary Klippi; three grandchildren, Eugene "Geno" Traficante III, Robert L. Bowlin, Jr. and fianc Cristina Byers, and Craig D. Sullivan and wife Melissa; two great-grandchildren, Christian and Dylan Sullivan; and a sister Patricia Vandenberg.

Friends will be received in The Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, September 15 from 2-8 p.m.; and on Monday, September 16, from 10 am until 11 am when Prayers of Transfer will be held.

The Funeral Mass will follow on Monday at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, with Rev. Father James D. Tringhese as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
