Rosalee M. "Sis" (Kolosky) Powell, 72 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Friday July 17, 2015.
Rosalee was born on October 10, 1942 in Oliver, Pa.
Rosalee married the love of her life Richard W. Powell of Brockway in July of 1966, the couple settled in Uniontown where they raised their 4 children; Jodi, Richard Jr., Michael and Shawna.
Rosalee was a devoted and loving mother and wife, she was very proud of her family and was over joyed when she became a "grandma" to her 10 grandchildren, Rosalee loved holiday's and family get together's any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.
Rosalee was best known for her kind and loving heart.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Rosalee was proceded in death by her parents Paul and Elizabeth Kolosky and brothers Paul and James Kolosky and is survived by her sister Debra Kolosky Fields of Uniontown, she was the beloved wife of Richard W. Powell and devoted mother of Jodi Butler and husband Dan of Uniontown, Richard W. Powell Jr., and his wife Julie of Point Marion, Michael Powell and wife Carla of Uniontown, Shawna Powell - Earnie Jenkins of Uniontown.
Rosalee was most proud of her grandchildren, Hayley and Drew McGettigan, Theresa Sarah and Jeffrey Butler, Logan Spiker, Baylee Powell, Ryan, Klayton and Nathan Jenkins and several nieces and nephews.
Rosalee was an avid dancer in her younger years, once dancing on the Lawrence Welk show, she was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1962 and enjoyed her monthly card club meetings, and she was also co-owner of Pauls Food Center & Jailhouse Driving Range in Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday July 23, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m., and on Friday July 24, 2015 until 11 a.m. when a blessing service will be held.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
