Robert (Bob) Arthur Goodwin Sr., age 75 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Uniontown Hospital with his loving family at his side following a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 31, 1940 in Bunker Hill, Pa. Son of Arthur and Augusta Cook Goodwin who preceded him in death along with his sister Nellie Fae Frankenbery and nephew Robert Cooper.
Bob graduated from Uniontown High School in 1958 and graduated from Coyne Electrical College in Chicago, Illinois. He had a successful career as an employee with IBM for 45 years. Bobs passion for the outdoors was shared with his sons, son-in laws, grandsons and good buddies on many Canadian fishing and hunting trips as well as in our own local mountains.
He is survived by his most loving wife of 56 years, Janice Mae Krepps Goodwin who nursed Bob through his illness. He is also survived by his two sisters Margaret Frankenbery of Uniontown, Nance Goodwin of Houston, PA and his Aunt Garnet Hamilton of Hopwood, PA.
He is also survived by his six children that he loved. Robert Goodwin Jr. and his wife Darla, Bonita (Goodwin) Nesser and her husband Steve, William Goodwin and his wife Heather of Charleroi. Barbara (Goodwin) Unice and her husband Jeffrey. Rebecca (Goodwin) Ennis and her husband Kirk and Bruce Goodwin and his wife Cheryl. Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kelsie Goodwin of Baltimore, Md. and Kira Goodwin of Uniontown, Stefanie (Nesser) Ambrose and husband Frank of Bridgeville, Pa. and daughter Marliana. Corey Nesser of Hopwood, Nathan Nesser of Oakmont, Pa. and fiance Genevieve Devivo ,William Goodwin Jr., Anna Goodwin, Miles Goodwin, Nicholas Goodwin and Max Goodwin of Charleroi, Pa. Ryan and Kristen Carolla of Monroeville, PA and their children Tyler & Jordin,. Stacie Carolla & fiance Stephen Tobak of Republic, Pa., Aaron & Rachel Carolla of Uniontown. Brittany Ennis of Montgomery, Alabama, Adam Ennis of Uniontown, Kayla Goodwin and Benjamin Goodwin of Uniontown. Also left to cherish his memory are his sister and brother in- laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received .in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext, Uniontown, PA on Thursday, September 3, from 2-8., and Friday, September 4,until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Father William Kiel officiating.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery
