Robert E. Fisher, 88, of Uniontown, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Sinclair Personal Care Home.

He was born on September 17, 1927 in Friendsville, MD, son of John A. Fisher and Emma Fisher Nicklow.

His parents, wife Frances E. (Frederick) Fisher, and sisters, Margaret Bill, Opal Migyanko and Pauline Malinosky, preceded him in death.

Robert was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church. He owned and operated Fisher's Market and several other grocery businesses for over 20 years. He served in the United States Army, was an avid golfer and member of the Fayette County Golf Association. His smile and caring spirit will always be remembered.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Linda and Robert, both of Uniontown, PA; sisters: June Hutchinson and husband Tom of Fairchance, PA, Loretta Irwin of Valencia, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, October 25, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 26, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
