Robert Michael Chuey (age 68), of Uniontown, PA passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. Born in Bethesda MD, he was the son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Solly) Chuey. He was preceded in death by Uncles Andrew Solly, Frank Solly, William Solly, Jacob Solly, Charles Solly and Raymond Solly. Robert is survived by his brother David (Patricia), and nephew Jordan Chuey and niece Kayla Chuey.
Robert served in the U.S. Army after completing the ROTC program at West Virginia University. After serving, he had various positions using his expertise in finance, having a career as a CPA for over 40 years.
The long list of community service support he provided included the American Legion, Catholic War Veterans, St. Jude's Hospital, the Notre Dame Alumni Association's Appalachia Gift Drive in Kingwood, WV and the Children's program at WVU's Medical Center.  Until now, he sat on the Board of the Southwestern Veteran's Home since being appointed by then Governor Wolf in 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese Catholic Church (61 Mill Street, Uniontown) will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 30 with a private interment following. Announcement by Stephen R.
