SGM Robert Louis Christe, 71 of Uniontown passed on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Born September 8, 1948 in Listie, Pennsylvania, son of the late Robert and Pauline Christe; Beloved husband of 41 years  to Gloria (DeCarlo) Christe, father of Jillian DeCarlo Christe of Denver, Colorado, Robert W. Christe and wife Caitlin of Uniontown and Erica Peterson of Washington, grandfather of Charlie and Aislin Christe, Alex Abraham, Gabriella, Gwyneth and Grant Snyder ; great grandfather of Sage; brother of Rick Christe and the late Raymond Christe. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh class of 1971. He served his country for over 30 years, retiring from service in the US Army, the US Army reserves, Homeland Security and FEMA. He was active in the Catholic War Veteran's Of Uniontown, an avid Pitt fan and loved to travel and loved Italy. Robert was a lifetime member of the American Legion, AMVETS, and the VFW.   Friends welcome at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown on Saturday from 6-8 PM and Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Blessing service will be held on Sunday at 4 PM in the funeral home. A Committal Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at Mt. Macrina Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with full military honors accorded.
