Robert Lee Brookins Sr., age 67, of Masontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2010 with his family by his side, after a 2 ½ year bout with cancer.

He was born December 30, 1942 in Fairmont, WV. Robert was the son of David and Odele (Adams) Brookins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step father Frank Martin.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Robert Lee Brookins Jr., Odale Shawn Brookins, and Casey Jarod Brookins. Also remembering Robert is the mother of his children Patricia Anne Brookins, two aunts, one uncle, and several dear cousins.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa., Monday December 13, 2010 from 2-2:30 the hour of service with Rev. Leonard Kirby officiating.

Interment will be private.
