Richard Allen Shaffer's Obituary
Richard Allen Shaffer, age 69, of Ash Fork Az., formerly of Martinsbug, WV, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012.
He was born on December 15, 1942 in Mt. Sterling, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Nellie (Riffle) Shaffer and John Henry Shaffer, wife Celia (Gosh) Shaffer, and his brother Donald Shaffer.
Richard was a member of The VFW and American Legion.
Left to cherish his memory is his children Rick Andrew Shaffer and wife Rhianna, Sherry Robbins and husband Fred, grandson Brandon Robbins, great granddaughter Madison Robbins, friends Ruth Benson-Hashim, Betty Crudup, Naomi Shelton-Stokes, adopted daughter India Holloway, adopted grandchildren Marina, Evan, Paul and Thomia.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461, on Thursday August 30, 2012 from 8-9PM
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Cemetery,, PA.
