Rena Maria Leone, age 92, of Uniontown, PA., passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Hill Side Manor. She was born on April 30, 1921 in Royal, PA., a daughter on the late Roniero and Angelica Marenacci Leone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Leone; an infant sister, Concetta Leone; and a brother Rainey A. Leone.

Rena was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, in Uniontown. During W.W.II. Rena worked with the war dept. in Washington, D.C., before enlisting in the Cadet Nursing Corps. She was a graduate from both Georgetown University School of Nursing and Duquesne University School of Nursing. Rena was last employed at the Fayette County MH/MR clinic up until the time of her retirement.

Left to cherish Rena is her sister, Concetta Morano of Fairfax, VA., and many cousins.

Friends will be received at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 3-7PM and Monday, July 8, 2013 until 9:15AM when Prayers Of Transfer Will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church at 10:00AM with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak as celebrant.

A Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 3:00PM
Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
