Mr. Regis J. Yuras, 74, of Leckrone, passed away on Monday, June1, 2026 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Uniontown on July 4, 1951 to the late Walter and Pauline Tokish Yuras.

Regis graduated from German Township High School.

He married Rose Johnston, she preceded him in death on August 31, 2018.

Regis worked as a coal miner, and retired from Bailey Mine.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and giving them too many popsicles. You could find Regis sitting on his porch listening to classic rock, or taking care of his pool.

Regis is survived by his children, Regis J. Yuras, II and wife Courtney of Masontown, Raelene Yuras and finace Corey Leathers of Greensburg, and Dawn Fields of Smithfield; grandchildren, Clayton LaRose, Jamye LaRose, II, Chelsie LaRose, Hallie and Vivi Yuras; great grandson, Carson LaRose; sister, Tamela Brady of Leckrone; a brother-in-law, Jerry Johnston and family; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Regis was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Yuras and Walter “Fudgie” Yuras.

Visitation for Regis will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Sunday, June 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

Interment is in St. Mary Cemetery, Leckrone.
