Philip "Phil" Joseph Rucinski, 66, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, West Virginia.

He was born in Pittsburgh on July 10, 1959 to the late Stanley and Wilma (Crowley) Rucinski.

Phil was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Phil retired from SCI Greene in 2018, where he worked as a plumbing instructor.

He married Janice Fullard on November 21, 1980.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Janice (Fullard) Rucinski of Uniontown; children, Amanda Palmer (Marshall) of Finleyville, and Matthew Rucinski of Uniontown; grandchildren, Sarah, Lindsey, and Ryker; siblings, Tom Fitzgerald (Patricia) of Export, Barb Wolff of Butler, Jim Fitzgerald (Patty) of West Mifflin, and Stanley "Butch" Rucinski of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Beth) Cipriani and brother-in-laws, John Cipriani and Ed Wolff.

Visitation for Phil will be at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Sunday, February 22nd from 3 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 23rd at 12 PM.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
