Pearl Eleanor Ludrosky's Obituary
Pearl Eleanor Kreson Ludrosky, age 96, of Gallatin, Masontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Cherry Tree Nursing Home, Uniontown, PA.
She was born on March 2, 1915 in Mount Pleasant, PA, a daughter of the late Martin and Margaret (Nixon) Wiltrout.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Kreson, her second husband John Ludrosky, a son, Donald Kreson, a great granddaughter Jennifer Rates, step-children, Frances Balog, and Joseph Ludrosky, brothers, Martin and Patrick Wiltrout, and sisters, Doris Brown, and Kathryn Kucera.
Pearl retired from the Ben Franklin 5 & 10 Store in Masontown where she worked for many years. She was a graduate of Masontown High School Class of 1934, and a member of Masontown United Methodist Church.
Pearl enjoyed working in her yard and garden, and also fishing. Many happy memories of taking tours and shopping with her daughter Judith, will always be cherished. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are, her daughter, Judith Sparks, with whom she made her home; her step-children, Charles Ludrosky and wife Justine of New York, Irene Zieglar of Greensboro, PA, Frank Ludrosky and wife Martha, and Clarence Ludrosky and wife Wilma, all of Parma, OH, and Richard Ludrosky of Brunswick, OH; five grandchildren, Ronald Rates of Tarentum, PA, Robert Rates and wife Gina of Woodside, PA, Eric Rates of Smithfield, PA, Nancy Cook and her husband Brooks, and Scott Kreson, all of Cleveland, OH; three great grandchildren, Chris Bartuch, Sierra Rates, and Dalton Rates; many dear step-grandchildren and their families; a brother, Donald "Skip" Wiltrout and wife Ida of Mount Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, February 10, from 4-9 p.m., and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Bernard Carl Officiating.
Interment will follow at Masontown Cemetery.
