Paulette Sabatine Ludwig of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Friday July 3, 2026. Paulette was born June 15, 1945, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Emmet Joseph Sabatine Sr. and Vincenza Piccolomini Sabatine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Karl Ludwig and her brother Emmet Sabatine Jr. She was a 1965 graduate of South Union High School. She moved to Parma, OH where she pursued her career in cosmetology. Paulette was fortunate to enjoy 15 quality years of life after kidney transplantation thanks to the generous gift of organ donation. She and her husband, Karl, enjoyed traveling, collecting and time spent with family. There was never a bingo game that Paulette did not enjoy. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Gerald Sabatine and wife Tracie of Uniontown, sister-in-law Kathy Copeland of Indianapolis, nieces Adrienne Milson (David) and Leanne Falce (Brian), nephews Gerad Sabatine (Emily) Emmet Sabatine III and Jerad Anthony Sabatine. She was beloved Aunt Poppy to her 3 great-nieces Addison Milsom, Amelia Sabatine, and Lucia Falce: 6 great nephews, Emmet Sabatine IV, Nicholas Sabatine (Daniela), Jerad Sabatine (Tiffany), Giovanni Falce, Aiden Milsom and Evan Sabatine and great-great nephew and niece, Nicholas Sabatine Jr. and Deara Alia Sabatine. Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. on Tuesday from 2-6PM. and Wednesday from 10-11AM at which time a blessing service will be held in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to Monarch Meadows Personal Care Home and to OSPTA Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) or a charity of your choice in her memory.
