Mrs. Paula J. Karem, 77, of McClellandtown, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Uniontown Hospital.

She was born in Brownsville on October 26, 1947 to the late Paul and Margarie Geekie Garred.

She graduated from Mt. St. Macrina School, class of 1965.

Paula married Eugene R. Karem on September 23, 1969. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2021.

She is survived by three sons, Jack and Wendy Karem, Chris and Raquel Karem, and Geno and Christa Karem; three grandchildren, Cody Bart, Alexus Karem, and Briana Karem; twelve siblings, Betsy and Joe Sibal, Kathy and Ed Verbus, Greg and Linda Garred, Gene and Dawn Garred, Susan and George Kostelnik, Connie and Alan Early, Paddy and Jamie Cossick, Mary Ellen and Tom Nalevanko, Christine and Bob Phelan, Michael and Vicky Garred, Laura Myers, and Sally and John Masterbray; and a brother in law, Ed and Lisa Karem.

Visitation will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Wednesday, October 30 from 5 to 8 PM. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 11 AM at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
