Paula Jane (Beni) David, age 64, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Uniontown, Hospital.

She was born on December 5, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan, daughter of the late Paul Beni and Betty Jane (Grubbs) Beni Weltz.

Paula was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare and GMAC.

Surviving are, her loving husband of 43 years, Harry P. David Jr.; her sister, Vicki Beni Chambers and husband Francis Chambers; her half-brother, Charles R. Weltz, Jr.; nieces, Natalie Boyd and husband Brian Boyd Sr., Nicole Chambers and Randy Nestor, a great niece Rachel Boyd; a great nephew Brian Boyd Jr.; and many cousins, godchildren, and special friends.

Paula was an active member of St. George Maronite Catholic Church, and Secretary of St. George Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 51, as well as Secretary and Treasurer of the AFSCME Local Union # 2582. Paula was an avid traveler with her husband and friends.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, February 14, from 2-8 pm, and on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 until 9 a.m. when prayers will be said.

A Divine Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Rodolph W. Wakim as celebrant and Rev. Father Simon El Hajj as Concelebrant.

Entombment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

The Parish Rosary will be held on Monday afternoon at 3 p.m.; and the American Legion Post 51 Auxiliary ritual will be held at 5 p.m.

The Service of Ghinnaz will be held on Monday evening at 7 p.m.
