Mr. Paul A. Wasil, Sr., 90, of Uniontown, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

He was born on June 26, 1934 to the late John and Anna Yumin Wasil in Latrobe, PA; and grew up in Derry and Peanut, PA.

Paul graduated from Scott High School in Braddock, PA.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War era.

Paul worked in many capacities with State Farm for thirty-seven years, having retired on July 1, 1998.  He was a four-time member of the regional Vice President's Club with State Farm throughout his career.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus Local 1275.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid Penn State fan, and was looking forward to the upcoming game.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Wasil of Uniontown; six children, Paula Lasichak and husband Jim of Ocala, FL, Lori Randolph and husband Larry of Irwin, Paul A. Wasil, Jr. and wife Tina of Dalton, GA, Janet Kromer and husband Jim of Penncraft, Michelle Lawson and husband Jeff of Erie, and Daniel Wasil of Uniontown; three step-children, Albert J. Stasko, Jr. and wife Christine of Irwin, Kimberly Hinerman and husband Jerry of West Newton, and Jeff Stasko of Uniontown; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Parsons and husband Richard of Pittsburgh.

Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Szekely Wasil on June 27, 1987.

Visitation for Paul will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Friday, June 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Byzantine, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Saturday, June 7th at 12 PM, with the Panachida at 11:15 at the funeral home.

Interment is in St. John Byzantine Cemetery in Hopwood.
