Paul J. Santella, 95 of Hopwood, Pa., passed away on Saturday February 16, 2013
He was born January 3, 1918 in Edenborn, Pa., a son of Paul and Enrichetta (Pasqula) Santella.
Paul served his Country with The United States Marine Corp and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Barbara Kozy, sisters; Helena Santella, Lucy Blassic, Neva Plitka and his brother Michael Santella.
Left to cherish his memory is his children Paul Santella Jr., Noel Santella, Karen Santella, a brother Attilio Lattanzi and wife Dorothy and his sister Jean Malinsky, he was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Monday February 18, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Tuesday February 19, 2013 until 10 a.m. when a blessing service will be held with Rev. Father John M. Butler officiating.
Interment will be held in St Mary's Cemetery Leckrone, Pa., where military honors will be accorded by The AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
